I participated in all the closed betas, and the lack of care put into the game as a whole was shocking (engine, peer-to-peer connections, anti-lead, performance, engine upgrades, etc.).Foi anunciado um remaster por volta de 2018 e começaram a trabalhar no jogo em 2024/2025 enquanto cuidavam de um processo na justiça americana sobre copyright. Não entregou a qualidade desejada pelo público. O servidor privado Freestyle GunZ mantido por desenvolvedores independentes desde 2007 continua sendo melhor e mais estável. Participei de todos os betas fechados e foi impressionante a falta de cuidado com o jogo como todo (engine, conexões peer-to-peer, antilead, performance, upgrades da engine etc). A única coisa que tem qualidade (na minha opinião) são os modelos de personagens e poucos dos alguns mapas que eles refizeram as texturas.

As for optimization, it's perfect.O jogo tá legal, só tem algumas coisas para pontuar mas nada que atrapalhe a experiência foda de ter uma nostalgia de qualidade ao jogar. Em questão de otimização, está perfeito, o único ponto é que a opção "Dynamic Light" (pelo menos no meu computador) estava travando todo o game. a remasterização ficou muito boa, não perdeu a essência e ainda assim deixou tudo mais "nítido" Se você jogou o antigo The Duel pode ter certeza que irá gostar... Se você é novo no jogo tente fazer amizade com quem já sabe jogar para pegar dicas, seria interessante ajudarmos quem está começando par ao jogo hyper novamente. Espero que divirtam-se e obrigado por fazerem isso acontecer, Masangsoft.
