- i cannot stand when the main story forces you to play anyone but Kliff, AND requires you to defeat bosses with them before the story continues back to Kliff

- 99% GPU usage, and around 30% CPU, not a single setting on cinematic, most on high (especially GPU-heavy settings like model quality, textures, etc) and even put shadows on low. 1440p, tried both DLSS 4.0 and FSR 3.1 settings, RTX on and off (this changed nothing that I noticed).

Abyss artifacts needed to upgrade gear

- It wouldn't be nearly as bad if you only Abyss artifacts for maybe the last 3 levels of gear. But for more than half the upgrades for EVERY piece of gear in the game require Abyss Artifacts which is absurd.

- So, the same type gear is only able to be refined 'up to level 4'. Level 5 gear requires materials because it starts to require abyss artifacts.

- One thing was you need Abyss artifacts for EVERYTHING so youre better off picking a single set of armor and weapons and sticking with them because you'll spend dozens leveling up sets to try then not like or use then be out those artifacts.

On the studio’s known-issues notice

11 issues on Pearl Abyss’s “Known Issues” notice when we last read it on 29 Jul 2026 (Pearl Abyss last updated it 24 Jul 2026). Read the notice

[PlayStation] Using the cross-save feature may result in an error due to network instability.
Fish being caught while fishing in certain areas are unable to move.
Greymane faction quests cannot be progressed while playing as Damiane or Oongka.
If the "Evasion Control" option is set to “Hold,” the default Evasion key still functions even after the Evasion key has been changed.
If Damiane dies immediately after using the Shield Toss skill, she can no longer use her shield or related skills.
If this issue occurs, you can resolve it by saving and reloading.
NPCs required for quest progression cannot ride together on Legendary Animal mounts.
[Mac] When using a keyboard and mouse at certain resolutions, the cursor position differs from the actual furniture placement point.
[Mac] The colorblind filter is not applied to the UI when "Colorblind Mode" is enabled.
[PlayStation] The screen may freeze if characters are entered rapidly while using the virtual keyboard to set the name of a pet or horse.
Please enter characters slowly with brief pauses when changing names. We apologize for the inconvenience.
On NVIDIA GTX 1060 GPUs, enabling 'FSR Upscaling' and 'Frame Generation' causes the screen to appear white.
When using FSR4 upscaling, an issue occurs in rainy environments where rain disappears, or the screen becomes blurry or distorted.
