CD has been a welcome bit of fresh air in that regard - whilst its combat is significantly inferior to DD - there is just so much content to explore, systems to engage in and cool enemies/bosses to fight that it really feels a lot more rewarding to play.

Now that they have done this story update and a dlc is on the way I will definitely play it again at some point but there are things other games do better than crimson desert.

The game might seem overwhelming at first once you finish the story since there's so many things available to do (event quests which are not leaving any time soon) but the best way to approach it is to slowly climb up the quest tiers and get better gear.
